High cheekbones head rotation reference
The high-cheekbones head is widest across the cheekbones, with the face narrowing below them toward a rounded chin. Mark the cheekbone as a point on the side of the face before placing the eye above it. As the head turns, that point stays on the outer contour longer than the jaw does. The broad nose base and full mouth sit inside the narrower lower face.
